Mitzi L. Dorris, President
Mitzi became the President and office administrator of LifeBridge in October of 2008. A graduate of Austin Peay University, Mitzi worked at Southern Woodenware, Inc. as the Corporate Secretary/Treasurer for over 16 years. In her capacity at Southern Woodenware, she trained office personnel in the areas of computer data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivables, inventory management and sales.
In 1996 Mitzi opened her own business, Data Source Solutions, Inc. and became the account manager for five area businesses before pursuing her interests as a paralegal. In October of 1998, she became the office administrator and paralegal for a Nashville attorney dealing with divorce, adoptions, mediation and child support issues as well as various other legal areas.
Mitzi is a divorced and remarried mother of four and resides in the Greenbrier, Robertson County area. Her personal goal is to assist others with their struggle through divorce and especially to strengthen families as they learn to co-parent and become separate but whole individuals again.Mitzi encourages you to strive to learn more about the effects of divorce on your children. Sherry L. Davidson, Client Care Coordinator
Ms. Sherry L. Davidson is a native Tennessean, and has lived in Old Hickory for the past 30 years. Her degree is in mathematics, with minors in secondary education and sociology from MTSU in Murfreesboro. Sherry has taught in middle and high schools for the Metro-Davidson County Public School System, as well as for TN School for the Blind, where she has conferenced and advised in many student-parent relationships. A divorced mother of three children, Ms. Davidson considers herself to be a good listener who has patience and empathy for the members of a divorcing family. She joined the LifeBridge team seeking to smooth the way for newly-divorcing single parents and their children in their emotional journey.
Sherry is one of our excellent instructors with LifeBridge. She also is the one who files an attendance certificate with the court upon completion of your parenting class! Sherry visits the county clerks and ensures that LifeBridge is meeting your needs by promptly filing these certificates in accordance with the court’s requirements. Sherry’s heart is evident as she works through issues of finding court docket numbers, returns numerous phone calls to attorneys and clients and follows up on any requests for referrals to mediators and counselors. She is ready to assist at a moment’s notice and truly reflects the heart of LifeBridge! Feel free to email her!
